I knew from a very young age that my passion for animals would lead me on a journey towards becoming a veterinarian. Growing up in Bowmanville I have actually been a part of the Bowmanville Veterinary Clinic for almost 10 years; including volunteering and working in various aspects and now officially as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I could not be happier to begin my career with such an amazing and dedicated team of individuals!

I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Ontario Tech University where I received an athletic scholarship to play varsity hockey. I then completed my Veterinary Medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College and graduated with distinction in April 2020. My interests truly include all species from dogs and cats, to exotic small mammals, reptiles, birds, and wildlife. I enjoy the diversity and challenge that each day brings and look forward to learning as much as I can about all the special creatures we share our lives with. My passion is focused on the emotional well-being of pets during their trip to the veterinary clinic while making these visits as “fear-free” as possible in order to reduce stress and anxiety. My other interests include small animal dentistry and preventative feline medicine.

I enjoy spending time with my 3 cats, Toby, Dixie and Phoebe, and corn snake Norra. I am looking at adopting a dog in the near future and hopefully purchasing a home in the countryside. I love playing hockey, baseball, and ultimate frisbee, and enjoy horseback riding, camping and gardening.
