I graduated with honours and awards in 2014 from the Veterinary Technician Program at Georgian College in Orillia. I obtained my Registration status (RVT) immediately after graduating that same year. During my externship, while attending school and shortly after, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a large variety of animals. I obtained employment working with an equine surgeon, a large animal DVM, an emergency clinic and my favourite was with the doctors and staff at the Bowmanville Veterinary Clinic working with exotics, companion animals and wildlife.
After creating and developing a successful local family business and having my sons old enough to step in, I felt that it was time for me to pursue my lifelong dream and passion to work with animals. I am proud to be a part of this amazing dedicated team of professionals at the BVC. All of the staff here work so well together to provide the best care possible to every animal we see. We strive to help educate our clients to ultimately strengthen the relationship with their pet.
When not at the clinic you can find me with my husband taking care of business or with our family and friends either out on our boat, competing on horseback or at home on our hobby farm caring for the horses, German Shepherd “Tequila”, Yorkie “Bandit”, “Slick” the snake and “Beckham” the barn cat.
